【嘉宾介绍】
刘向娟
西方美术史博士，上海大学美术学院史论系硕士生导师，曾任英国伦敦大学瓦尔堡研究院访问学者。多年从事西方美术史学和现代设计史的研究教学工作，发表论文著作主要包括《建构艺术史与社会发展的宏观图卷》、《艺术考察与艺术史教学——以2015年美术史系夏季学期毕业文论考察为例》等。
主讲上海大学硕士生课程《现代设计文献》。主讲本科生课程《西方艺术史》、《艺术社会史》、《现代设计史》等。

英国风景画
英国风景画可分为三个发展时期。英国风景画从17世纪开始萌芽发展。以英国皇家艺术学院为代表的英国艺术学院的创建使其进入了重要的发展期。
《Frosty Morning》，1813
英国风景画在19世纪达到发展的高峰，也迎来了它的变革期。最重要的进展之一是艺术家教育的“学院化”几乎完全实现了。但其与具有崇高艺术理念的历史画还不能相提并论。
《Calais Pier》，透纳，1803
因此，19世纪末20世纪初期，反对美术学院的声音日益明显，艺术家们开始在美术学院之外举办展览，相互交流，风景画家们在这个过程中扮演了重要角色。
《The Hay Wain》，康斯特布尔，1821
进入20世纪后半期，无论是风景画还是美术学院，都变得更加开放。风景画摆脱了具象物与景的束缚以后，对当代问题的表达更加有力，对新媒体的使用更加自由。
