爱，就是可以一起吃沙丁鱼！

爱的日常，爱的本质。...

这是我很早以前给女儿囤的一个英文绘本，今天情人节很应景，分享给大家——Zurine Aguirre 的SARDINES of LOVE。夸张可爱的插画，奇特丰富的想象，故事告诉我们的爱情日常和真谛，相信你们也会爱上。故事很轻松，你花2分钟时间就可以读完。Once upon a time there was a grandfather called Lolo. He loved eating sardines.

从前有一个老爷爷叫Lolo ，他最喜欢吃沙丁鱼。He liked to eat them roasted in the oven , or cooked on the grill. He like them fresh and he liked them in cans. He only ever left them in bones.

他喜欢把沙丁鱼放烤箱里烤着吃，也喜欢在烧烤架上面烤着吃。他喜欢吃新鲜的，也爱罐头装的。每次吃到连骨头都不剩！He fished for sardines every single day. Sometimes he fished with his rod, near the lighthouse.

他每天都去钓沙丁鱼。有时候拿着钓鱼竿在灯塔旁边钓鱼。Other times he fished for sardines from his boat on the ocean.Jeff the Octopus always came along.

有时候坐船去海上钓。章鱼Jeff每次都跟着他一起。Grandmother Lola sold sardines every day in her fish shop.

而老奶奶Lola就在自己开的鱼店里每天卖沙丁鱼。She hated sardines but she cooked them every day for Grandfather Lolo.

她不喜欢沙丁鱼但是她每天都为Lolo做。One day Lola sold all the sardines in the shop! She didn’t want Lolo to go hungry. So she took her rod and went fishing.

有一天，她把店里的沙丁鱼都卖光了。她不想让老爷爷饿肚子，所以拿起鱼竿就出去钓沙丁鱼了。Soon she felt a tug. A big sardine was pulling hard on the line. Too hard!

很快，她就感觉到有东西在拖攥她的鱼竿，那力量太大，估计是一条很大的沙丁鱼。Hard enough to send Lola flying through the air, straight into Jeff’s mouth!

因为鱼竿那头的力量太大，老奶奶直接被甩进了章鱼Jeff的嘴巴里面。Wow This BELLY is Like A House!

（老奶奶想）哇哦，这章鱼肚子大的简直就像一个房子！The hours passed. Lola began to feel hungry . But there was only sardines in Jeff’s Belly.

Back at home , Lolo was worried, he did not know where Lola was. He looked for her, and waited, and looked again.

But Lola did not return.

几个小时过去了，Lola有点饿了，但是Jeff的肚子里面只有沙丁鱼。而老爷爷回到家，发现Lola不见了，很担心，他到处找她，等她，就是不见老奶奶回家。In Jeff’s belly ,Lola tried frying sardines .She made sardine jelly and she cooked sardine cake. She cooked sardine Pizza and froze some sardine ice pops!

Meanwhile Lolo could not stop crying.

老奶奶开始在章鱼的肚子里面开始煎沙丁鱼了。她还做沙丁鱼果冻、沙丁鱼蛋糕，沙丁鱼披萨和沙丁鱼冰棍。而老爷爷在家却伤心得直哭。He cried so much, that he began to float in his own tears.

他哭啊哭，哭得太厉害，浮在了自己的眼泪上。He floated on his tears all the way to the ocean .

一直漂到了大海上。漂进了Jeff的肚子里面。And he found Lola again. Now they were even happier than ever before .They had all they ever needed. Love and SARDINES!

这下，他终于找到老奶奶了！在章鱼的肚子里，他们俩活得比以前更开心了。他们拥有彼此的爱，还有彼此都喜欢吃的沙丁鱼！

这场和沙丁鱼有关的爱，浪漫极了，胜过无数鲜花、大餐和美丽的誓言。老爷爷和老奶奶本来就很相爱，现在连老奶奶不喜欢吃的沙丁鱼都变成了爱吃的美味，他们之间的爱情已经毫无缺憾了！可爱的Lolo和Lola，放在朋友圈，那肯定是最让人羡慕嫉妒，不恨的！

爱情是什么？无非就是在日复一日的琐碎生活中，能彼此陪伴，做让对方开心的事情。

我不喜欢沙丁鱼，但是我可以继续为你做；当我发现了沙丁鱼很美味，我又可以为你变出很多花样来！如果不是因为爱，估计就很难做到这些吧。
