5.我家宝宝3岁3个月长到1米了，能够和我用英语句子交流了，说的好不好不重要，重要的是他觉得英语还挺有意思。
6.陪着他开始学骑马了，骑得好不好不重要，重要的是骑了这么久，也没有说要养匹马，这让我这个老父亲很宽慰。
7.陪着他学钢琴了，反正是开始了，去老师家，一脚就踢在斯坦威的脚上，能不能弹不重要，反正没踢坏钢琴这还是令人欣慰的。
8.陪着他每天早上骑两个小时的自行车，骑的好不好不重要，反正小区的保洁阿姨和园丁大叔都认识我了。

这里的sought是seek的过去分词。
Places 要是在公务员招考的语境下那就是“职位”
在买房的语境下那就是“地段””户型”
在大学招生的语境下那当然就是“专业”了啊
going to EU and international students (定语)
我们来个例句：

怎么翻译？
面向今年毕业生的职位数量有限。
Capital going to this industry is increasing.
怎么翻译？
投向这个产业的资本在增加。
所以词汇的理解真的是要有语境的。
in failing to expand their intake of domestic undergraduates
这是定语还是状语？
语法上都说的通，所以就不重要了。
重要的是这么长，哪怕就是定语也不能往前翻译了。
单独翻译，也不无所谓是定语还是状语了。
while 翻译为“”同时“或者“但是”都说的通。
那就看译者怎么处理了。
这才是语言应该有的样子！灵动！
