爱人间的承诺
西方基督教认为，结婚誓言是新人在婚礼上向对方做出的承诺。
The earliest traditional wedding vows can be traced back to the church manuals in medieval times.

According to the marriage agreement, the Church of England usually offered couples two choices. One is that the couple could promise each other to "love and cherish", the other one is for the groom to commit to "love, cherish, and worship", and the bride pledges to "love, cherish, and obey".
