小年，又称祭灶节、灶王节，是每年的腊月二十三（北方）或二十四（南方）。小年被视为整个春节活动的，开始和伏笔，主要习俗有两个：祭灶和扫尘（家庭大扫除）。

Xiao Nian, or Minor Spring Festival, falls on the 23rd or 24th of the 12th month of the lunar year, and is seen as a prologue to the forthcoming Spring Festival. The day also honors the Kitchen God and the act of “sweeping the dust” to get rid of any misfortune.

1月17日至2月23日，17：00-21：30，80余组大型创意灯组将，在大连金石滩国家旅游度假区点亮，为美丽浪漫的海滩风光，增添浓浓年味。

Over 80 large-scale lighting displays will illuminate the night at Jinshitan National Tourism Resort in Dalian, a coastal city in Northeast China’s Liaoning province from Jan 17 to Feb 23. The displays will create a shimmering atmosphere for Spring Festival along with the romantic seaside scenery.大连金石滩国家旅游度假区位于，辽东半岛黄海之滨，距大连市中心，50分钟车程。这里三面环海，拥有长达35公里的，海岸线。度假区内的国家，滨海地质公园、金石园，凝聚了3-9亿年震旦纪、寒武纪的地质奇观。

Jinshitan National Tourism Resort is a 50-minute drive from the urban center of Dalian, with ocean on three sides and a coastline stretching for 35 kilometers. Compared with traditional lantern festivals, this year’s event will feature interactive activities, such as lanterns that visitors can play with, parades, music, dancing and even cosplay. The event will also use advanced technologies featuring lighting, sound and electricity, to create a magical and dream-like kingdom for children. They may spend the happy holiday exploring the ocean, a dinosaur world, a world of snow and ice, and interacting with animated characters.在为期37天的，经营时间里，灯会现场还设置餐饮、购物、互动娱乐、民俗展演、现场演绎等配套项目，将开展金石滩迎春美食，庙会、“山花烂漫映花灯”大连市民间文艺迎春会、网络摄影大赛等十大，丰富多彩、互动娱乐的主题活动。有面塑、沙画、葫芦烙画、皮雕、木雕等精彩演绎，带你领略传统文化魅力。更有放海灯、猜灯谜、吃元宵，带你体验最具年味，的花灯盛宴。

During the 37-day event, visitors can take part in 10 themed activities, including a food fair, folk performances and photography competitions. Traditional Chinese art, such as dough modeling, sand painting, leather carving and wood carving, will be exhibited.
