Audrey Assad 是美国新泽西的，当代基督徒女歌手，她出生在宗教信仰的家庭里，从两岁就开始学习钢琴，但成长过程中受母亲影响，听过不少世俗音乐也受到父亲的影响吸收了法国与中东的音乐。
assad在佛罗里达州当地演出，时，她说她的音乐类型更像，是乡村结合平凡的吉他钢琴演奏。而第一张专辑《Firefly》则像一张乡村，音乐歌曲的专辑。
她的音乐风格混合了宗教与非，宗教的主题，更多的是为上帝唱歌，而不是唱关于上帝的歌，正是因为这种融合的，成长经历，让 她的歌声中既，融合了空灵宁静的感觉，又富有动听的旋律，带给听众别样的感动。
