PLAIN OR CHEESE在纽约方言里，用plain（原味）一词不加馅料的披萨；纽约之外，说这种披萨则要用cheese（芝士）一词。

Plain meaning without topping is New York-area vernacular while outside New York such a pizza would be referred to as cheese.

一块还是一片PIECE OR SLICE说道是一片片的披萨（slices），在纽约你可以说I‘m getting a slice（我要片披萨），大家就知道你什么意思了。但在其它地方，你要说piece of pizza（一片披萨），你要是说slice（一片）的话，就要说清楚是“披萨”。

Speaking of slices，in New York you can say,"I 'm getting a slice", and people will know what you are talking about. However, elsewhere "piece of pizza" is preferred, and if you say "slice", you'll need to qualify it with "of pizza".

派还是披萨

PIE OR PIZZA

对于东边沿海地区人而言，谈到整个披萨是说pie（派）再自然不过了，但对于其他地区却不是这样。pie一词被西部沿海地区人称为“装腔作势”，而且是“只有电影里的人会这么说”

pizza place(披萨店儿）的说法普遍，接着pizza parior(披萨馆），紧随其后的是pizzeria.

While Pizza place was the most popular, followed by pizza parior and, a close third, pizzeria.

Party-cut means cutting in a grid,while pie-out means cutting in triangles or wedges.

All-dressed (盛装）是蒙特利尔俚语，意为“应有尽有”，盛装披萨有蘑菇，青椒和意大利香肠，也不是“一应俱全”，但料也不少。

All-dressed  is Montreal slang for "everything" on it. The all-dressed pizza comes with mushrooms,green peppers, and pepperoni,not literally "everything" but still a lot.
