建造神的坛（二）：挪亚在洪水过后筑了一座坛

创世纪8:20-21

20 挪亚为耶和华筑了一座坛，拿各类洁净的牲畜、飞鸟献在坛上为燔祭。

21耶和华闻那馨香之气，就心里说：“我不再因人的缘故咒诅地（人从小时心里怀着恶念），也不再按着我才行的灭各种的活物了。

洪水过后，全人类都从地上被除灭了，只留下挪亚和他的一家。

挪亚出方舟后一无所有，除了船上的飞鸟走兽。但我们看到，他走下方舟以后的第一件事，就是为神筑了一座坛。挪亚在地上为神筑坛献祭，这是依照神的吩咐做的。

挪亚从洁净的飞鸟走兽中每种取了一只，献给神为祭。这代表了神重新创造了天地后，就在第七日安息了。这也就是说，我们要把第七天（或七天中的某一天）拿出来完全献给神，单单敬拜祂。

这是他生活的新起点，表明他把神放在生命中的第一位，放在他人生之旅的第一位。这个举动同样表明，要开始一个新生活，一次新旅程，他就要先敬拜神，宣告他的一切全都属于祂。他也要承认并宣告，他在世上的新生活将完全倚靠这位全能的神来度过。

为神筑坛就是建造祂的教会。

你是通过教会领受了救恩，开始了与基督同行的新生活。你是在教会中藉着祷告领受了神对你人生的指引。魔鬼的权势是在教会中被耶稣名下的权柄击溃的。各样机会的大门是在教会中被祷告打开的。正因为如此，你才有了盼望，有了一个光明的未来。

从这个新起点开始，你要为神筑一座坛，也就是建造祂的教会。这样就是让神在你的生命中居首位、掌王权了。你要承认并宣告，你所有的一切都属于祂。你要承认并宣告，你要完完全全倚靠祂。这样，你就会永远把祂置于生命的首位。

良好的开端是成功的一半，善始必能善终。挪亚开始了他的新生活，而神在地上又多了一座坛。

Building God’s Altar:  Noah Built the Altar After the Flood


Genesis 8:20–21 (NKJV)

20 Then Noah built an altar to the Lord, and took of every clean animal and of every clean bird, and offered burnt offerings on the altar.

21 And the Lord smelled a soothing aroma. Then the Lord said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground for man’s sake, although the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; nor will I again destroy every living thing as I have done.

After the flood, the whole human race was wiped out from the earth, except for Noah and his family.

When Noah came out of the Ark, he had nothing except those animals and bird. Yet we see that the first thing he did was to build an altar to the Lord. Noah built the altar of sacrifice to God on earth. This was done at the Lord’s command and instruction.

Noah took the seventh clean animal of each kind and the seventh clean bird to offer to the Lord. This represented God rested on the seventh day when He recreated the heavens and the earth. This also speaks of, we are to give God the seventh day (or a day) to worship Him.

It was a new beginning for him on earth. This signified that he put God first in his life and in his journey on earth. It also signified that, to begin a new life, a new journey, he will worship God and acknowledge that all that he had was His. He was also acknowledging that his new life on earth was in total dependence and reliance on the Almighty God.

To build God an Altar is to build His Church.

It is through the church that you received your salvation and began a new life with Christ. It is in the church and through prayers that you received direction for your life. It is in the church that the power of the devil is broken by the authority that is in the Name of Jesus. It is in the church that doors of opportunities were prayed opened for you and you have hope and a bright future.

From the new beginning you build the altar of God, which is, you build His Church. That way, you are putting Him first in your life. You acknowledge that all that you have is His, you acknowledge that you are to depend and rely on Him, then you will always put Him first in your life.

When you begin well you will end well. When Noah had a new beginning, God had an Altar.
