上周Kelly 老师总结的写作句型不仅高大上，更重要是她告诉了我们，这么高大上的句子，其实可以用在我们的写作当中。所以这一期，我们再来跟着Kelly老师积累实用的句型吧！

使我们无法自由和高尚地活着的最主要原因是对财富的迷恋。
核心词/短语：
1. preoccupation
动词原形为preoccupy
前缀pre- 意为before 事先，之前
occupy 意为占有
preoccupy 意为（事先占有）预占；盘踞（心头）；使凝神于
2. possession
动词possess（拥有）的名词形式，在本句中意味财富
注：财富不是只可以用money来表达的，学学高深点的表达吧！除了possession，还有fortune， treasure，wealth
《傲慢与偏见》Pride & Prejudice 开篇的第一句话
It is a truth universally acknowledged that a man inpossession of a good fortune must be in want of a wife.
这里的possession表示拥有，所以in possession of是替代with的最佳短语，而a good fortune意为很多钱，很多财富。

尤其是，特别地
在这里用作插入语。状语用作插入语是中国学生应该学习用于写作中的。
4. prevent sb. from doing sth
使某人不能/无法做某事
核心句型：
It is preoccupation with …, more than anything else, thatprevents us from….
我们无法做某事的最主要原因是对…的迷恋。
这个句型非常适合用于原因描述，反过来也适合用于后果的描述，或放在总结段落的第一句也十分精彩！
2013年12月四级作文有一篇是关于手机的过度使用The Overusing of MobilePhones
文章要求第二段写过度依赖手机的后果，用上这句话便相当出彩！It is preoccupation with mobile phones, more thananything else, that prevents the students from concentrating on their studies.学生无法专心学习的最主要原因是对手机的迷恋。
微作业：以中国人看淡中国传统节日为主题，仿写以上这个核心句型。
句型拓展：
这个句型可以进一步进行拓展，其实这就是一个非常重要的英语句型——强调句。It is…, more than anything else, that prevents us fromdoing…我们无法做某事的最主要原因是…It is…, more than anything else, that encourages us to do…我们做某事的最主要原因是…这两个句子里第一个省略号用名词短语。e.g. 我们下定决心治理环境污染的最主要原因是对自身健康的关注。It is our concern with the health, more than anythingelse, that encourages us to determine to treat environmental pollution.微作业：以个人隐私泄露为主题仿写以上这个拓展句型。
