Jazz in Sweden(Jazz i Sverige)奖获得者。

2010年,乐队与Lina Nyberg合作录制了对Leonard Bernstein的名作《West Side Story》进行的全新演绎, 并共同进行了一次大规模巡演—这也是乐队迄今为止最重大的突破之一;2011年到2012年间,Fabian荣获瑞典国家广播电台2011年度最佳爵士音乐家提名;乐队与格鲁吉亚爵士/融合/民谣乐团Egari、瑞典流行歌手Nina Natri和爵士明星Nils Berg合作,进行了一系列富有趣味而极具挑战性的音乐项目;

——Ulf Johansson, Gothenburg Post

“...An hour of spiritual jazz music in a classical trio setting. Brilliant, coherentand intelligent.” “Best jazz-CD of the year.”

——Ingrid Strömblad, Svenska Dagbladet

“MUSICMUSICMUSIC are innovative, inspirational and unique. They could have veered toward sself-indulgence on so many songs - they certainly have the talent to pull itoff – but their musical integrity is too great.”

——Daily News, Durban, South Africa
“Young, hip, tight jazz from Gothenburg” “Forget about trios stuck in hazy and introverted intimate jazz, this band is a compact unit full of rhythmical accuracy, impulsive melodies and a Charlie Parker portion of humour.” “It’s just right!” “The sense of style reaches out, from Gothenburg to the world.”

——Tobias Brandt, La Musik, Swedish National Radio

“Personality is the key word here:  Kallerdahl has buckets of it. He’s an engaging presence with a ready, zany wit.” “With funky fluidity and brilliant melodic reappraisal, Like Someone in Love and What a Wonderful World emerged completely refreshed as deeply personal statements.”

——RobAdams, Edinburgh

Three extraordinary jazz musicians make up MUSICMUSICMUSIC. In their native Sweden the trio has been hailed one of the most vitalizing music experiences to hit the jazz scene in years. With a passion for experimentation and an ever presentjoy in playing, the group skillfully takes on classical jazz compositions as well as original work by the group’s pianist Fabian Kallerdahl, who was rewarded with the Jazz in Sweden (Jazz i Sverige) award for 2006. The group has become widely acclaimed for their refreshing lack of respect, humoristic features and intimate live performances and has reached out to audiences far beyond the traditional borders of jazz music.

Inthe past years the band’s dedicated touring schedule has covered the Nordic countries and northern Europe. The trio has also set time aside to perform in both South Africa, Japan, Thailand, Mexico and the US.

When released in Sweden in 2004, their debut album “One Two Free” was an immediate success with both audiences and critics. Their second album “What’s A Good Boss Anyway?” was announced best jazz album of the year, 2005, by Sweden’s second biggest newspaper, Dagens Nyheter.

In 2006 the pianist Fabian Kallerdahl was awarded with the prestigious Jazz in Sweden award and the trio made the music for the play “Macbeth”, at the National Stage (Den Nationale Scene) in Bergen, Norway. This music was put onthe trio’s third album.

“EverybodyDigs” – MMM’s fourth album was released in February 2008 in conjunction with anextensive tour in the nordic countries. In the summer of 2008 MMM made asuccessful performance at Rochester International Jazz Festival, NY.

In2010 MMM started working together with Lina Nyberg and recorded their common interpretation of Leonard Bernstein’s “West Side Story”. This was one of thetrio’s biggest break-throughs so far and led to an extensive tour together with Nyberg.

In 2011-2012, Fabian Kallerdahl was nominated Best Jazz Musician of the Year 2011by the Swedish National Radio. MMM joined an interesting and challenging musical collaboration with Georgian jazz-fusion-folk-ensemble Egari, Swedishpop artist Nina Natri and Swedish jazz star Nils Berg.

In2013-2014 the trio made successful tours in Sweden, Germany, and Mexico. Their 7th album “Buen Sabor” was inspired by their Mexican adventures. In December 2014 Hoob Records celebrated 10 years with a big festival, arranged and headlined by the trio.

After12 years of groundbreaking music MMM has established the trio as something ofan institution in Swedish jazz and continues moving jazz ahead and celebrating their love to music on stages everywhere.
