彭麗君教授於聖路易的華盛頓大學取得比較文學博士學位，研究興趣包括華語電影、現代性、全球化、知識產權、文化政策和創意表達等，運用跨學科的方式分析文化的政治和經濟性。而彭麗君教授的主要研究核心在於追索中國「現代性」中「文化」的意義與實踐，同時她也有興趣於香港電影與全球影像文化的研讀。 . Pang Laikwan received her Ph.D. in Comparative Literature at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research area covers Chinese cinema, modernity, globalization, intellectual property rights, cultural policy, and creativity. She is particularly interested in using interdisciplinary approaches to explore the political and economic dimension of culture.
