首先是开篇

不同于议论文，应用文的特点是，一开篇就需要点明来意，或作出回应。

01 解释写信的原因

I would like to applyfor admission to your university for study in Computer Science.

▲我想申请去贵校攻读计算机科学专业。

According to this new Beijing Weekly, I find you want an experienced efficient secretary.

▲根据新一期的《北京周报》，我得知您需要一位有经验的能干的秘书。

I understand from Mr.Smith that there is an opening for a reporter on the staff of Sun.

02 致谢
