------第5章 财富之悟------



财富属于懂得分享它的人，而不属于只会占有它的人。

财富越多，事务越忙。

利益蒙蔽了一些人的双眼，但也带给了另一些人一定的启发。

拥有金钱的好处就是可以使用金钱。

小得即知足好于多得而争吵。

He does not possess Wealth，it possesses him.

不是他拥有财富，而是财富拥有他。

Wealth is not his that has it，but his that enjoys it.

He who multiplies Riches multiplies Cares.

If you"d know the Value of Money，go and borrow some.

Haste makes Waste.

Many a Man thinks he is buying Pleasure，when he is really sellinghimself a Slave to it.

Who is rich？He that is content.Who is that？Nobody.

What shall it profit a Man，if he gain the whole World，and lose hisown Soul？Without some Care in this Matter，tho"thou may"st come tocount thy Thousands，thou wilt possibly still appear poor in the Eyes ofthe Discerning，even here，and be really so for ever hereafter.

如果一个人得到了整个世界，却失去了自己的灵魂，又有什么用呢？如果不注重这方面，即使他以后飞黄腾达，但在明白人眼里，他永远都是一贫如洗。

The poor have little，beggars none，the rich too much，enough notone.

穷人可谓几乎没有，乞丐称为一无所有；富人即使拥有太多，却无人说足够了。

The poor man must walk to get meat for his stomach，the richman to get a stomach to his meat.

穷人忧愁食不果腹；富人却劳神开胃食肉。

Proportion your Charity to the Strength of your Estate，or God willproportion your Estate to the Weakness of your Charity.
