为了促进广大学者积极参与《地球科学》（中、英文版）的建设和发展，《地球科学》编委会评选出了《地球科学》（中、英文版）2016年度“高被引作者”。其中，英文版2016年度“高被引作者”是根据Web of Science中检索到的《Journal of Earth Science》2013—2015年论文总被引频次由高至低排列评选，中文版2016年度“高被引作者”是根据中国知网中检索到的《地球科学》2013—2015年论文总被引频次由高至低排列评选。对于获评作者，今后可以在我刊免费发文一篇。评选结果如下：
