在雅思写作中，最为困扰考生的问题可能是自己写出来的句子过于简单又干涩。句子是单词的载体，同时也是篇章的基础，因此其重要性不容忽视。考生们可以通过词汇的变化，词组的添加以及平行结构等方法来将简单干涩的句子变得“面色红润万人迷”。今天首先为大家介绍如何通过词汇的变化来提升句子。1
使用less common lexical vocabulary
在雅思写作中，考生会经常使用good，bad等“平平无奇”的单词。并不是说这些单词在写作中不能使用，但考生需要通过“复杂化”的流程对这些“原材料”进行加工。
我们来看以下句子：
Cultivating children’s time management skills instead of restricting them is good to their study.
I strongly believe that the global spread of the same products is bad to culture and traditions worldwide.
第一个句子解释为“培养孩子时间管理的能力而不是限制他们，对其学习很有好处。“其中”好处“用good进行表达，略显简单，考生可将其替换成beneficial或conducive。
在雅思写作中，good的其他替代词还有advantageous，effective，efficacious，favorable，invaluable，rewarding，unparalleled，unprecedented。
第二个句子解释为“我认为相同产品的全球化普及对世界的文化和传统有坏处。”
其中，“坏处”用bad进行表达，也略显简单，考生可将其换成detrimental。在雅思写作中，bad的其他替代词还有adverse，destructive，disastrous，harmful， negative， malicious，unsatisfactory, vicious等。

修辞化
在雅思写作过程中，名词可以通过形容词来修饰，动词和形容词可以通过副词来修饰。而在修饰的过程中，所用的形容词或副词不是越唬人越好，关键在于恰当与否。
