矮人们来到了Bilbo家，开始喝酒吃肉，共商杀巨龙，夺财宝，走上人生巅峰的大事！Up作为一个集prep.adj.adv.v.n.属性于一身的词，不同语境下用法繁多，此处略去1万字...
- 干杯除了Cheers; Up;还有drink/toast to...：为了...干杯；以及bottom up, 干杯.

讨论如何屠龙时，老者巴林表示：
即便是我们有一只军队的支持，这个任务也很难。The task would be difficult enough with an army behind us.
with A behind B：B有A的支持，即A是B的靠山。这能很形象的说明A与B的关系。
- With my dad behind me, there is nothing I can't do. （我爸爸是李刚，我要上天！）
- With my team behind me, I can fix any problem. （有我的团队支持，我能解决任何问题。）

大家在议论要不要让Bilbo加入
野外可不适合既不能作战又不能保护自己的温和的人。The wild is no place for gentle folk who can neither fight nor fend for themselves.
A is no place for B：B不适合A（A中没有B的容身之处），即：B has no place in A.
- 你在打DOTA时遇到了小学生：DOTA is no place for pupils who don't even know deny. （DOTA不适合连反补都不知道的小学生！）
- Sweet douhua has no place in the north east. （在东北，甜豆腐脑是没有市场的。）

完全不是造就传奇的料。Hardly the stuff of legend.
Hardly the stuff of sth. 完全不是...的料。
- 你只是实习做一个安静的生活翻译，突然主管告诉你同传神秘失踪要你客串一下，你是拒绝的！于是你耸耸肩说：Sorry, boss. I'm hardy the stuff of simultaneous interpreter. You'd better find a professional guy. （老大，我可不是同传的料，你还是找个专业大神吧）

Bilbo一行终于出发了，路遇怕太阳的食人魔，天快亮了，食人魔大哥表示：
老子可不想被石化。I don't fancy being turned to stone.
fancy doing/sth：想要(做)... Fancy是个口语中很常用的词~~
- 在宿舍，你马上要去上课：A—Fancy playing LOL （要打英雄联盟吗？）U—No, not now. I don't fancy being absent for Mrs. Qi's translation lecture. （不，现在可不行，我可不想逃齐老师的翻译课。）
- Fancy a drink （来一杯吗？）
- 其他用法：Fancy meeting you here. 没想到在这碰到你。（Fancy,:真想不到）

Bilbo掉进山洞遇到Gulu，与之打赌猜谜，在确定猜谜规则后说：
Fair enough：可以/好的/行吧。并不是字面上挺公平的意思，字幕翻译不准确。Fair enough.
- 请看牛津字典中：(informal,especially British English) used to say that an idea or suggestion seems reasonable.（非正式，特别是英式英语）用于表达一个想法或建议貌似有道理。
- Urban Dictionary（一个网络俚语词典，甚至包含you can you up等中国网络流行词）:What you say when you initially disagreed with another's opinion or behavior, but after hearing their explanation can now see their point of view.(当你开始不同意一个人的观点或行为，但在听完他们的解释后能理解他们的观点时说得话）
后续的剧情打斗场面居多，台词较少，所以《霍1》的分析就先这些啦！让我们用一个场景把上面这些强行穿起来！
同学AB两室友在宿舍，午饭时间临近。
A—Fancy having sweet douhua for lunch? （午饭想来点甜豆腐脑吗？）
B—Oh, come on, you must be kidding me. （别扯了，你四不四逗我泥！）
A—Well, I know sweet douhuahas no place in your home town, but just have a try? （你家那边不吃甜豆腐脑我知道，但你试试无妨啊）
B—I don't think I should. （我觉得还是不用了吧。。。）
A—My treat, let's go, just have a try, I bet you will fall for it.（我请客，gogogo，试试，你一定会爱上甜豆腐脑的）
B—Okay, fair enough.（行吧。。。）
At the canteen 在餐厅
A—You don't look well today. （你今天看上去闷闷不乐啊）
B—Yeah, I not going quite well with my grilfriend. （是啊，和我女票最近处的不太好）
A—No worry man, you always have your brothers behind you. Maybe you just need to spend more time with her. How about a trip to some place nice? （别担心，兄弟们都会帮你的。估计你就是陪她时间太少了，你们一起去个好地方玩玩呗。）
B—And, where? Exactly. （哪？具体说来。）
A—Dar el Beida. （达尔贝达，注：摩洛哥历史古城，著名旅游城市，在地中海南岸，又名卡萨布兰卡。Dar el Beida源自阿拉伯语音译【小编本专业啊，哈哈】,直译为白色的房子，卡萨布兰卡为西班牙语音译，详情各位可以谷歌之。）
B—Never heard of it. I'm hardly the stuff of geographer. （并不知道，我可不是地理学家的料）
A—In the common tongue, it's known by CASABLANCA. （大家都叫它卡萨布兰卡）
B—Oh, the romantic city in Morocco, in south mediterranean. （哦，那个地中海南岸的摩洛哥浪漫城市。）
A—Yeah.
B—Not bad, I will consider that. UP！ （不赖，我会考虑的，干！）
A—UP！
