关于sight word

有人说Phonics不能覆盖所有的英语单词，学了Phonics就能进行大量阅读了吗？英语母语国家的研究人员，早已经有了完整的解决方案：英语中80%的单词是可以用 Phonics拼读出来的，剩下的20%中，找出最常用的单词单独记忆，就可以了！这些最常用的单词，只有220个，包括 a, an, the 等，就是Sight Words！除此以外的生词所剩不多，基本影响不到儿童阅读能力的发展。

Phonics和SightWords是孪生姐妹，两者相辅相成，构成了阅读能力的基础。除了自然拼读法，Sight Words是英语阅读的重要“拐杖”。

Sight Words顾名思义，就是一入视觉就立即能反应的词汇。这些词汇占据阅读词汇量的50%！有了这220个词，阅读的文章中，就意味着50%的单词都认识，然后再配合相应的阅读难度的书进行阅读练习，就会极大地提高阅读速度，以及阅读流利性，进而会有助于对文章内容的理解。
