Previously, we have introduced you to our training center (press here to find out more); and today, let’s walk through the programmes offered!

培训中心课程从博物馆管理、藏品、教育和展览等方面选定主题展开，始终坚持以最前沿的理论与实践为基础。互动、协作、实践作为培训班始终强调和关注的培训方式，深刻体现在培训班丰富多样的课程形式中。

Based on the most advanced theory and practice, programmes are offered on themes like museum management, collections, education, exhibitions and more. We also value interaction, collaboration and practice in our training, which is supported through various programme formats.

 讲座授课 

Lectures

讲座是培训班的基本授课模式。授课教师均为来自国际博协和世界各大博物馆的资深专家。他们凭借扎实的专业功底和丰富的实践经验，与学员们分享世界博物馆相关最为前沿的理论知识和各类实践案例，并传授经验，为学员提供新思路、新方法，指导学员更好地开展工作。

We invite experts from ICOM and major museums around the world to give lectures, which are the main parts of our training workshop. With solid professional knowledge and abundant field experience, the lecturers share the most advanced theories; various case studies and their working experience with participants, helping them improve their own work with fresh ideas and methods.

主题工作坊

 Mini-Workshop

培训班主题内涵丰富，主题工作坊选取每期主题的几个方面，由授课专家组织学员分组学习，对经典理论和前沿实践深入分析。学员可根据个人专业背景和工作需求选择一个主题，与该组专家和其他学员展开深入讨论。这种授课形式在有限的培训时间内，既提高了课程的灵活性和针对性，也拓展了主题内容。

Mini-workshops approach each theme from different aspects. Lecturers lead their own study group to analyze prominent theories and contemporary practice. Participants may choose their group according to his/her professional backgrounds and needs. While making the programme more flexible and specific, this format of learning further expands participants’ understanding of the general theme within the limited time of the training.

专家面对面 

Conversations with Lecturers

专家面对面环节，为学员提供了更多与专家交流和讨论的机会，双方可以达到充分的交流互动。面对面环节以各授课专家的课程内容为中心衍生议题，由各专家分别组织。学员可根据自己的问题与需求，自由安排时间参与一组或多组讨论，与专家自由畅谈自己在工作和培训学习中的一些疑惑与观点。

This programme facilitates full interaction between participants and experts, inspiring more communication and discussions concerning the previous lectures. Participants can join one or more discussion groups according to their time schedules, and chat with experts about their concerns and views in their own work and studies.

分组讨论与合作 

Group Work and Discussion

分组讨论与合作或配合教师讲座、或作为独立的课程环节进行。教师结合授课主题设置相应问题或任务，学员分成若干小组，进行讨论、互动，协作解决问题或完成特定任务。分组讨论与合作鼓励每位学员都对其讨论的主题发表看法，以参与者而非旁听者的身份参与其中，主动提出观点，并在与其他参与者的意见交换和反复探讨中完成学习任务。

Group work and discussion is either an expansion of lectures or an independent programme. Lecturers assign several questions and tasks for participants in groups to complete through discussion and collaboration. It encourages each participant to freely express their views on topics in question, letting each one of them actively join the programme not just listen. Participants are expected to share their views and learn from the exchange of ideas.

个人展示

 Individual Presentations

培训中既有专门提供给学员的专题汇报环节，也有融入专家授课，专家与学员交叉上台演讲的模式。个人展示与课程内容紧密结合，既能有效提升学员个人业务素养，提高学员个人展示能力，与专家授课穿插进行的方式，还使之成为授课内容的有效补充。个人展示不仅使学员之间能彼此引导与启发，也为其将理论转化为实践奠定基础。

During the training, participants will give presentations. Integrating individual presentations within the courses helps promote participants’ professionalism. These presentations also complement the contents of the lectures. While sparking new ideas among participants, presentations lay the foundation for the combination of theories and practice.

博物馆业务实践 

Museum Practical Experience

培训中心根据每期主题设计各主题对应的业务实践课程。业务实践围绕课程重点内容设计，涵盖展览、教育、文物考古、文物保护与修复多领域，选择该领域具有领先业务水平的博物馆作课程支持，邀请馆内业务骨干作授课老师，指导学员结合理论知识进行实践。真正做到以互动、协作和实践为培训特色。

Our training center offers programmes in museum practice corresponding with each theme. These programmes involve various fields including exhibitions, education, archaeology and preservation and restoration of cultural relics. We collaborate with museums that specialize in those fields and invite their professional staff to instruct our participants to apply theories in the field.

藏品阅读 

 Reading Artifacts

“藏品阅读”课程由加拿大科技博物馆引进，依托于故宫博物院丰富的馆藏资源，借助不同类型、材质、功能、时代的藏品开展。在授课教师和专业文物保管人员的指导下，学员对藏品的收藏信息、时代信息、文化信息进行分组阅读与学习，并通过丰富多样的形式汇报展示藏品的“故事”。“藏品阅读”课程不仅是引导学员重视藏品本身的实践课程，更充分激发其想象力和创造力通过多种途径发掘藏品相关信息，还锻炼了学员个人展示能力和团队合作能力。

Introduced by the Canada Science and Technology Museum, this programme is conducted using the rich collections in the Palace Museum. Participants are divided into groups, and with help from faculty and conservators, study artifacts that vary in type, material, function and era. They are expected to learn about the information of collection, dates and culture, and present the “story” of those artifacts in various ways. Reading Artifacts turns participants’ attention to the collections themselves. It is a programme that inspires participants to use their imagination and creativity to elicit more information about the collections; at the same time, it helps improve participants’ teamwork ability and presentation skills.

博物馆考察  

Museum Visits

博物馆考察由培训中心和合作博物馆相关负责人联合设计，带领学员进入博物馆并开展实地课程。学员可以借此深入了解博物馆的管理、藏品、教育、展览等各个方面的工作。培训班的课堂由培训教室，扩展到北京市多家博物馆，培训班的教师队伍，也扩大到了北京市多家博物馆的专业人员。

Museum visits, which are designed in collaboration between the training center and colleagues from local museums, offer participants the opportunity to conduct field studies in museums. Participants get to explore a museum from different perspectives including management, collections, education exhibitions, etc. Through this programme, our classrooms expand to various museums in Beijing. Our faculty is also joined by colleagues from those museums.

北京文化遗产地参观考察

 Excursions

每期常规培训班均于北京故宫博物院举行。北京是一处拥有多项世界文化遗产的城市。故宫、颐和园、长城、明代皇家陵寝等世界闻名的文化遗产均位于北京城。培训期间选择以世界文化遗产地作为参观考察对象，并创造学员与更多文博工作者进行交流的机会，既为学员拓宽了视野，也再一次强化了培训班重视的实践和亲身体验。

The Palace Museum, where our regular workshops are held, is located in Beijing. This city is home to numerous sites listed as World Cultural Heritage, such as the Palace Museum, the Summer Palace, the Great Wall, and the Imperial Tombs of the Ming Dynasties. During the training, we offer field trips for participants to explore those sites and communicate with staff on site. Excursions not only help broaden participants’ visions, but also reinforce the value placed on practice and experience.

在这里，我们依托各类藏品资源和来自世界各地的专家资源，提供具有国际博物馆界前沿理论与实践经验的培训，强调学员与藏品的互动，学员与教师的互动，以及学员与学员的互动，鼓励学员协作解决问题，分析讨论国际博物馆发展趋势和博物馆发展策略。

At ICOM-ITC, with our vast resources of collections in the Palace Museum and experts from around the world, we offer professional museum trainings in advanced theories and field experience. We value the interaction between participants and collections, dialogues between participants and experts, and the exchange of ideas among participants.
