词根al=other其它

词根速记：

这个词根大家一点都不熟悉，嗯，了解。但这不重要，哈哈，大家一定认识这个词吧：else。不认识的话，大家洗洗睡吧。

else  adv. 其它，另外

alter和else同源，那么这里的词根al=el，表示“其它”就好记忆了

这里要普及一个小知识，词根中的元音是可以替换的，替换后词根的意思基本不变，即a, e, i, o, u之间发生替换，或者元音字母及组合发生替换词根意思也基本不变。

大家看一个例子：

词根sim=sem都表相同，大家体会一下以下单词：

same相同的

simliar类似的

resemble类似

都有类似之意。

所以，这里的al=el表示其他也就好理解了。
