顺服祂的话语和祂的灵

雅各书 4:7【扩充版】故此，你们要顺服神。务要（站稳，坚决）抵挡魔鬼，牠就必离开你们逃跑了。

当我们顺服神话语的真理时，这真理就会成为我们的盾牌，遮盖我们的灵和思想。

如果我们不顺服神话语的真理，我们心思的门就只会向魔鬼的欺哄敞开。这是最严重的，因为当真理来到时，这真理就是神，当你拒绝真理时，你就是在拒绝神。当你心里拒绝神时，你就留了空缺，让魔鬼往里面填进谎言。

当我们的灵里和心思里都有真理时，尽管我们的思想会被魔鬼的想法轰炸，我们仍旧能够站立得稳去抵挡魔鬼，不会被压制，抑郁。当我们降服于神话语的真理时，我们就能在我们的心思中站立得稳。

注意，雅各没有说我们需要与魔鬼战斗，因为耶稣基督复活时，已经战胜了魔鬼；祂战胜了魔鬼的权势，当我们顺服神话语的真理时，我们的灵里和思想里就会有力量。除此以外，我们会被这真理遮盖保护，能够抵挡魔鬼，魔鬼必须逃跑。

神话语的真理是有大能的，因为神是全能的。我们灵里和思想里的真理，使我们里面有全能者的大能，是魔鬼不能抵挡的。

降服于神也是降服于圣灵，因为祂也是神。当祂对我们说话时，祂带领我们并且引导我们，我们无条件地降服于祂并且跟随祂。如果我们不让祂来引导我们，我们就不能到祂要我们去的地方，我们也不能明白祂一步步藉着启示向我们揭示的真理。

降服于神话语的真理并且降服于圣灵，就是相信祂藉着一位教师或者藉着直接的启示，向我们显明的一切。

通常，降服于神需要顺服真理。当神话语的真理藉着听道而来，信心就来了。祂的话语需要信心的顺服来产生果效。顺服信心（神的活话）本身就是顺服。简而言之，当神赐给我们指示去跟随时，我们不能说我们不跟随祂的指示而顺服祂的真理。

约翰福音9:6-7

6 耶稣说了这话，就吐唾沫在地上，用唾沫和泥抹在瞎子的眼睛上，

7 对他说：“你往西罗亚池子里去洗。”（西罗亚翻出来就是“奉差遣”。）他去一洗，回头就看见了。

恩典和真理是藉着耶稣基督来的（约翰福音1:17）。当耶稣对瞎子说你去西罗亚池子洗洗，如果这个人不顺服耶稣的指示会如何呢？他会痊愈吗？当然不会，因为他的医治取决于他是否顺服他所听到的（信心）。

顺服神就是顺服于神的话语和祂的灵。顺服就是我们的旨意降服于神的旨意。祂的旨意显明在祂的话语里，并且藉着祂的灵显明。

Submit to His Word and His Spirit

James 4:7 (AMP) So be subject to God. Resist the devil [stand firm against him], and he will flee from you.

When we submit to the truth of God’s Word then the truth will be our shield and covering over our spirit and mind.

If we do not submit to the truth of God’s Word, it will only open the door of our mind to the devil’s deception. This is most serious because when the truth comes, the truth is God, and when you reject the truth you are simply rejecting God. When you reject God in your mind it leaves a vacuum for the devil to fill it with deception.

When we have the truth in our spirit and mind, though our mind may be bombarded by the devil’s thoughts, we are still able to stand firm against the devil and not be taken over by depression and oppression. It is only when we are submitted to the truth of God’s Word that we are able to stand firm in our mind.

Notice James did not say we need to fight the devil because he is already defeated by Jesus Christ when He rose again; He overcame the devil’s power of dominion. When we submit to the truth of God’s Word we will have the strength in our spirit and our mind. In addition we will be shielded by the truth to resist the devil and he has to flee.

The truth of God’s Word is powerful because God is Almighty. The truth in our spirit and mind is having the power of the Almighty in our spirit and mind which demonic powers can never withstand.

Submitting to God is also submitting to the Holy Spirit because He is God too. When He speaks to us, leads us, and guides us, we have unconditionally yielded to Him and followed Him. If we do not let Him guide us, we will never reach that place He intended for us and we will never have the knowledge of the truth that He progressively unfolds to us by illumination.

Submitting to the Truth of God’s Word and to the Holy Spirit is believing whatever He is revealing to us either through a teacher or by direct illumination.

Often submitting to God does require obedience of the truth. When the truth of God’s Word comes by hearing, faith comes. Obedience of faith is required for His Word to produce any fruit. The obedience of faith (spoken Word) is submission in itself. Simply said, when God gives us instructions for us to follow, we cannot say we submit to His truth without following His instructions.

John 9:6–7 (NKJV)

6 When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay.

7 And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing.

Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ (John 1:17). When Jesus told the blind man to go wash in the pool of Siloam, what if the man would not obey Jesus’ instruction? Would he be healed? Of course not because his healing was conditioned on his obedience of what he heard (faith).

Submitting to God is submitting to His Word and His Spirit. To submit is to yield our will to the will of God. His will is revealed in His Word and by His Spirit.
