我们是外邦人，是次等人吗？

不要看自己是一个外邦人，好像你是一个劣等种族。反而要看你自己是天父的一个孩子，你与祂有约.........

有人问我：“张牧师，我可以问你一个问题吗？圣经说我们都是亚当的后裔，是神的子民。为什么除了以色列民之外，我们却都被称为外邦人呢？甚至连摩押人和亚扪人也不蒙神喜悦，路得记中把去到摩押地称作是寄居，这是不是也把摩押人和亚扪人称为外邦人了？”

首先，耶稣是亚伯拉罕的后裔（加拉太书3:16），因为圣灵在耶稣地上的母亲（马利亚）的腹中怀了祂。祂是亚伯拉罕的后裔，因为马利亚是亚伯拉罕的一个后裔。

如果我们仔细研读，耶稣的灵、魂和体不是从亚伯拉罕来的。因此耶稣的（灵魂体）实际上都不是从亚伯拉罕来的。

这节经文说，如果我们在基督里，我们就是亚伯拉罕的后裔。

加拉太书3:29 你们既属乎基督，就是亚伯拉罕的后裔……

我们是亚伯拉罕的后裔，因为我们是在基督里的，是基督身体的一部分，因此我们是亚伯拉罕的后代。但是你的身体是亚伯拉罕的后裔吗？不是的，因为你的祖先不是从亚伯拉罕生的。你的灵和魂是从亚伯拉罕来的吗？不是的，因为你的灵是一个新造的灵，这是当你接受耶稣做你的救主时，藉着圣灵而造的新灵。当你在你母亲的腹中时，万灵之父创造了你的魂，直到今日仍旧如此。

“犹大人”这个词第一次出现在列王纪下16章6节，当时亚哈斯是犹大的王。那时以色列国分成了两个国家，以色列国（由十个支派组成）和犹大国（由两个支派组成）。“犹大人”这个词只是意味着“属于犹大国”。犹大国的百姓称为犹大人。

亚伯拉罕，以撒，雅各和以色列国都不称为犹大人。好吧，如果犹大百姓被称为犹大人，那么亚伯拉罕，以撒和雅各以及其他人就都会被称为外邦人了。我们只是在肉身上是外邦人，而那些属于犹大国的人是肉身的犹大人。

事实上，灵既不是犹太人也不是希腊人。（译者注：圣经旧约中的“犹大人”就是新约中的“犹太人”。）

加拉太书3:28 并不分犹太人、希腊人，自主的、为奴的，或男或女，因为你们在基督耶稣里都成为一了。

即使非信徒的灵也既不是犹太人也不是希腊人。但是在肉身上，他们要么是犹太人，要么是希腊人。

同时，圣经称那些属于犹大国的人为犹太人。圣经称他们是肉身的犹太人而信徒是灵里的犹太人（罗马书2:28-29）我们如何解释这个呢？

同一条朱红色线，贯穿着肉身的犹太人和属灵的犹太人。

肉身的犹太人是犹大国的人，耶稣藉由他们而来。换句话说，肉身的犹太人为耶稣降生成为人子预备了道路。属灵的犹太人——信徒为耶稣的第二次再来，使教会被提做预备。

神对以色列国有一个目的，并且今天仍旧有一个目的，正如祂对每一个国家有一个目的一样。当教会被提时，世界进入大灾难，肉身的犹太人仍旧会被神再次使用。

不要看自己是一个外邦人，好像你是一个劣等种族。反而要看你自己是天父的一个孩子，你与祂有约，并且这约是以耶稣的宝血立的，比旧约中的其他约都更好的。耶稣的宝血持续不断地洗净你，为着祂的目的和荣耀遮盖你。

Are We Gentiles And An Inferior People?

Someone asked me this, “Pastor Cheong, may I ask you a question: the Bible says we are all descendants of Adam, we are all God’s people, then why is it that besides the Israelites, we are all called Gentiles? Even the Moabites and the Ammonites who were not pleasing to God. The Book of Ruth records that those who went to the land of Moab were sojourners, were the Moabites and Ammonites also considered Gentiles?”

Firstly, Jesus was the Seed of Abraham (Galatians 3:16) because the Holy Ghost conceived Him in the womb of His earthly mother (Mary). He was the descendant of Abraham because Mary was a descendant of Abraham.

If we study carefully, Jesus’ Spirit, soul and body did not come from Abraham. So actually none of Jesus’ (Spirit, Soul and Body) came from Abraham.

The Scripture says if we are in Christ, we are also Abraham’s seed.

Galatians 3:29 (NKJV) And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed,…

We are Abraham’s seed because we are in Christ and a member of the Body of Christ, therefore we are descendants of Abraham. But is your body the descendant of Abraham? It is not, because your ancestors did not come from Abraham. Did your spirit and soul come from Abraham? It did not because your spirit was created a new creation by the Holy Ghost when you accepted Jesus as your Lord and Saviour. And when you were in your mother’s womb the Father of spirits created your soul and it remains till this day.

The word “Jews" is first found in 2 Kings 16:6 (KJV), when Ahaz was the King of Judah. By this time the nation of Israel was divided into two kingdoms, the kingdom of Israel (made up of ten tribes) and the kingdom of Judah (made up of two tribes). The word "Jews" simply means “belonging to Judah”. The people in the kingdom of Judah were called Jews.

Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the kingdom of Israel were not called Jews. Well, if only the people of Judah were called Jews then Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and the others would all be called Gentiles. We are only Gentiles in the flesh but those that belonged to Judah were Jews of the flesh.

In fact the spirit is neither Jews nor Greek.

Galatians 3:28 (NKJV) There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.

Even the spirit of an unbeliever is neither Jew nor Greek. But in the flesh they could either be a Jew or a Greek.

At the same time the Scriptures did call them Jews who belonged to Judah. The Scriptures did call them Jews in the flesh and the believers, Jews in the spirit (Romans 2:28-29). How do we explain this?

There is one common scarlet thread that runs through the Jews in the flesh and the Jews in the spirit.

The Jews of the flesh were people who belonged to Judah through whom Jesus came. In other words the Jews of the flesh prepared the way for Jesus to be born as a Son of man. The believers who were Jews in the spirit prepared for Jesus’ second coming to rapture the Church out from the earth.

God had and still has a purpose for the nation of Israel today just like He has a purpose for every other nation. When the Church is raptured and the world enters into tribulation, the Jews of the flesh that remain will be used by God again.

Do not see yourself as a Gentile as though you are of an inferior race. Instead see yourself as a child of the Heavenly Father who has a covenant that is established with the blood of Jesus, a better covenant than any other covenant in the Old Testament. And the precious blood of Jesus is constantly cleansing you and covering you for His purpose and glory.
