The very lonely firefly《非常孤单的萤火虫》描绘了一只刚刚出生的小小萤火虫，在黑夜中寻找同伴的故事。这只小小的萤火虫在将灯泡、蜡烛、手电筒、灯笼、动物的眼睛、车头灯、烟火等发光物体误认为自己的同伴之后，在一切再次沉入黑暗之中后，终于找到自己的同伴。爸爸妈妈可以结合辛弃疾那句“众里寻他千百度，蓦然回首，那人却在，灯火阑珊处”来给宝宝讲述萤火虫的内心感受。
