是近几年来美国最畅销的情绪绘本，风靡全美，几乎每个家庭的孩子都有一册《皮特猫》。这只可爱的猫咪总是随遇而安，无论遇到什么倒霉的事情，它都一派轻松，保持愉快的心情去笑对一切。Pete的个性非常鲜明，酷酷的，很能吸引小朋友。

还有一些句式句型要记住哦
1、there is/aresomething. 有什么····
举例：There issomething everyone can do!”

举例：“i reallyhope it’s a new friend for me.”
我期望他会是我的新朋友
3、祈使句，动词原形在最前面，表示命令。
举例：”Don’t be said,don’t be blue

《彼得猫和它的新朋友》
It was Sunday, and Pete’s friends had come to play!
星期五，彼得和他的好朋友一起玩耍
They were rocking to a new song when```

BEEP BEEP BEEP
嘣嘣嘣
There was a noise coming from across the street.
马路对面传来了一阵噪音
ire old owl had a view from his tree

Pete said, ”Hey , owl! What do you see ?”

Owl said, ”all i see are green shoes and a red hat.

Pete answered, ‘sounds like my kind of cat!”

Pete could not imagine who this new guy could be

“i really hope it’s a new friend for me.”

On Monday, Pete wanted to say hi, but he was afraid of shy,

So he just rode by and

By and by and by—

Until finally Pete got to meet the new guy.

Pete said “i’ve never met anyone quiet like you!

the new guy said to Pete. “hi, my name is Gus. Glad to meet you.

But i think being different is really very good.”

On Tuesday, Pete and Gus tool a walk down the street.

They came to squirrel, who was playing in a tree.

Gus gave the tree a try, but the branch was way too high.

“I wish I could climb like you, but climbing is something I just can’t do.”

”Come play leapfrog with me !Jumping is easy.Tryand see.

Gus jumped and leaped, but he couldn’t get over Toad or Pete.
格斯跳了起来。但是并不能高过蟾蜍和彼得。
“I wish I could jump like you , but jumping is something i just can’t do.””

Pete said,”Don’t be sad, don’t be blue

Pete and Gus took a walk down the street

Soon they saw octopus, who said ,” come juggle with me! Juggling is easy! Try andsee! ”
