首次登上VOGUE的新锐模特-----Teresa Johnson

有幸参加今年纽约时装周实习，偶然的机会认识了Teresa，她与我们在同一城市--萨凡那，但第一次真正和她深入聊天是在纽约曼哈顿的一家餐厅，那是在时装周忙碌一天之后。Teresa黝黑的肤色，大大的眼睛，厚厚的嘴唇，时不时从嘴角露出微笑，给人一种特别的亲切感，喜爱拍照的她，向我们展示着她得意的时尚的作品，出于对时尚的敏感，很快就有了共同话题。

刚结束纽约时装周上ANNA K走秀的 Teresa，此刻也因同样第一次登上美国版VOGUE而激动不已，这些成绩都让年仅20岁的她更加坚信了自己的时尚之梦。这是一颗正在冉冉升起的时尚新星，除了由衷地为她高兴，我们也对她一路走来的历程充满了好奇。

YULU: What do you think of the New York Fashion Week experience？

可以谈谈你对这次纽约时装周的走秀经历吗？

Teresa: That was my first time doing New York Fashion Week, ever. It was so much fun. I saw many wonderful models, and also I learn more field information from them. Many designers give me many inspirations, which made me think about a lot. When I saw my picture in Vogue, I felt so overwhelmed. I was so thankful. I cried!

这是我第一次在纽约时装周的舞台上走秀，简直太棒了!我看到许多很棒的超模，在交流中也学到很多这领域的知识，在与设计师的洽谈中，也收获了很多值得思考的灵感。当在VOGUE上看到自己的走秀照片，我都激动的哭了，太谢谢了给我这个机会。



YULU: How do you prepare for the New York Fashion Show?

对于纽约时装周你做了哪些准备？

Teresa: I arrived New York in advance because all models were arranged to live in a hotel located in the Queens, and we needed to learn the schedules of fashion shows. We have rehersal many times on stage, and trainers gave us a large number of advice.

因为所有的模特要提前安排入住酒店，了解走秀流程，所以我提前到了纽约。我们进行了很多次预演，指导老师也给了我们很多建议。

YULU: Do you have some interesting experience around the NYFW?

在纽约时装周中，又发生什么有趣的经历吗？

Teresa: And sure! The most interesting experience for me...was definitely the Anna k fashion show, and probably the entire “casting call” experience. Casting can be brutal. But worth it, once you bookshows. Fashion week should be a sport, honestly.

当然有呀！对于我最有趣的经历当然是Anna k的时装秀了，也许是整个试镜的过程。虽然试镜是残酷的，但是一旦你被选上了，就很值得。老实说，时装周就是一场运动。

YULU: What's your favorate designer or fashion brand？

你有自己特别喜欢的设计师和时尚品牌吗？

Teresa: One of my favorite designers would have to be Jeremy Scott. I love how fun and cool his collections are. Another favorite would have to be Alexander Wang.

Jeremy Scott是我最喜欢的设计师之一，我超爱他设计的有趣和酷炫系列。Alexander Wang是我另一个比较喜欢的。



YULU: As for the Milan fashion show in September, do you have any expectations?

听说9月你即将要去米兰走秀，你期待吗？

Teresa: I feel a little bit more prepared for Milan, since I was able to get a feel of how things go in NYC. But I expect nothing but greatness! I can't wait to explore the city, and meet designers.

YULU: What do you think about Fashion or clothes?

Teresa: I think fashion is a great way for people to express themselves, without having to say anthing. To me, fashion is universal. All you need is a little confidence!

我认为时尚是人们表达他们自己的一种方式，不用说其他，就是做自己。对于我来说，时尚是全球的。所有人都需要一点自信。



YULU: Which style you wear in daily life？

你平常穿什么类型的服装呢？

Teresa: I don't really have a set style, per say. It just depends on my mood. For the most part, I'm a simple dresser. I like basic, classic pieces, because they never go out of style. You can find me wearing a large, plain, white button shirt, with some high waisted jeans and some sneakers on most days.

我没有特别固定的一种穿着类型。穿着一般取决于我的心情。在大部分情况下，我最求极简主义。我喜欢基本款和经典款，因为他们从来不会过时。你可以发现我在大部分日
子，我穿着宽松，简单，带有白色纽扣的衬衫，然后再配上高腰的牛仔裤，再一双运动鞋。
