为何？因为中国文化几千年一直在研究怎么吃，怎么养，目的只为一个，那就是如何才能做到“益寿延年”，如何“面如桃花”，特别是在中医药的伟大宝库中，有很多保养的方法，不管是通过饮食还是服用一定的药，或者用护肤产品。

譬如，对于女性生产之后会出现妊娠纹，西方寻找了很多方法，但是仍然效果有限，但是中国一个普通的习俗就可以达到除妊娠纹，除小肚腩的效果。

妇女经过怀胎十月之后，因为孩子体积不断增大，造成肚子皮肤也被扩充，生产完之后，很多人不能回复到怀孕前的状态，怎么办？

为什么吃酸菜有效

中国有一个习俗，那就是孕妇生产完之后坐月子时要吃一个月的酸菜，当然这种酸菜是自家做的不含防腐剂的，非常好的酸菜。生完孩子之后，很多妇女都是气血虚，产后需要不断补充营养，所以酸菜需要与猪肉一起腌制，持续吃一个月，之后妊娠纹、小肚腩就消失了。

在中医的饮食文化中，酸味的药都具备一个特性，那就是能收，“凡药酸者能涩能收”，能够把扩散的东西收回来，对于很多肥胖，皮肤松散的患者，通过适当的酸菜或者酸味药材的疗养，都会得到很好的控制。

酸菜应该怎么吃吃酸菜首先有两个讲究，一个是量，必须吃上一定的量，才能把怀孕时造成的小肚腩、妊娠纹收住；一个是时机，吃酸菜最好的时机是在生产完之后，过了 3~7 天的排瘀血期，基本恢复正常之后，开始每餐吃一点酸菜。一个是帮助妇女恢复怀孕前的身体状态，二是在吃肉类食物时起到减缓腻乏的作用。当然可以搭配其他菜，只不过以酸菜为主。

另外还要注意：

刚生产完不能吃酸菜

妇女生产完之后，有两个特点，一个是虚，另一个就是瘀，有瘀血就必须排除瘀血，此时如果吃一些酸收的食物，瘀血就很难排除，故而刚生完小孩不宜吃酸菜。

此法来自何处

江南很多地区都流行这种吃法，现代人不知道，以为不科学，其实是不了解其中原理。现代生活，越来越脱离传统，其实在饮食方面，传统的食疗食养还是有超人智慧的，大家不宜太“先进”，毕竟我们用了五千年时间去研究怎么吃！
