江苏远通电缆有限公司创建于1993年，公司座落于宜兴经济开发区。公司集科、工、贸一体化，是专业开发和生产电线电缆的现代化企业。公司拥有总资产1.78亿元，占地面积20余万平方米，其中厂房面积10多万平方米，现有职工300多名，其中各类中高级职称技术人员达60人。已形成年生产100万公里，产销15亿元的能力。

公司自1993年创建以来，产值、销售、利税等各项指标均以较快速度增长，成为电缆行业最具有持续化发展的重点厂家之一。公司近年来分别被上级政府和主管部门命名为“中国电线电缆知名品牌”、“江苏市场公认名牌产品”、“江苏名牌产品证书”等一系列荣誉称号，公司在产品质量、服务、信誉等方面深受广大用户好评，公司先后通过质量管理体系认证、环境体系认证。

公司注册商标为“才丰”牌电线电缆。公司现有的主要产品是：35KV及以下交联聚乙烯绝缘电力电缆、0.6/1KV聚氯乙烯绝缘电力电缆、架空绝缘电缆、通用橡套电缆、电焊机电缆、控制电缆、计算机电缆等;并重点开发了低烟无卤、低烟低卤、分支电缆及各种阻燃、防水、防鼠、防蚁、耐油、耐火型、屏蔽型、氟塑料、耐高温电缆、补偿导线等特种产品。目前生产的电缆最大导体截面为铝芯1200mm2、铜芯800mm2。
