想到重新去读《老人与海》是因为王小波的《沉默的大多数》，《老人与海》这本书是在几年前读的了，也记不清以前读这本书的感想了。

王小波在书里说他读到的是一个关于英雄的故事。

很多人说老人桑迪亚哥是个失败了的英雄。但是什么是失败呢？

也许可以说，人去做一件事情，没有达到预期的目的，就是失败。

他最终只带回了一条白骨，还有残缺不堪的小船。所以应该是失败的。

可是，在人生的道路上，失败这个词还有另外的含义，即是指人失去继续斗争的信心，放下手中的武器。人类向限度屈服，才是真正的失败。所谓的限度大概是我们内心的最底线到无限可能吧。

而老人从未放下武器，只不过是丧失了武器。他在与鱼斗争的过程，也从未过信心。所以他不是一个失败者，他是一个英雄。

而且，我觉得他是个可爱的英雄！

这本书好像也有同名电影，但是我现在还没看，因为才只读到40%！

所以先只和大家分享里面自己比较喜欢的几段。

老人与小男孩：

“Santiago,"the boy said to him as they climbed the bank from where

the skiff was hauled up.“I could go with you again.We've made some money.”

"No," the old man said."You're with a lucky boat.stay with them."

"But remember how you went eighty-seven days without fish and then we caught big ones every day for three weeks."

Iremember,"the old man said."I know you did not leave me because you doubted."

"It was papa made me leave.I am a boy and I must obey him."

"I know,"the old man said."It is quite noraml."

"He hasn't much faith"

小男孩很小的时候就跟着老人一起出海捕鱼，但是因为爸爸的原因不得不离开老人的船，这个时候老人已经87天没有捕到过一只鱼了，小男孩的语气里充满了抱怨，而老人只是和他说，我们要有信念。是啊，信念是个很奇妙的东西。《越狱》里Michael告诉他的哥哥“You just have a little faith." 不管什么时候我们都不可以放弃，信念可以创造奇迹！

睡着的老人

They were strange shoulders,still powerful although very old,and the neck was still strong too and the crease did not shhow so much when the old man was asleep and his head fallen forward.His shirt hand been patched so many times that it was like the sail and the patches were fades to many different shades by the sun.The old man's head was very old though and his eyes closed there was no life in his face.

这一段以男孩视角描写的老人似乎就是一个平常的老人，没有一点生气，是啊，他确实是那么老了，可是他身上还是有一股力量在。尤其是他的眼里，充满了生气！

一个人的旅程

All my life the early sun has hurt my eyes,he thought.Yet they are still good.In the evening I can look straight into it without getting the blackness.It has more force in the evening too.But in the morning it is painful.

这一段我不是特别能体会，在我看来晨曦是最美的，超过自然界一切，因为他总是给我们带来希望。可老人觉得他最伤眼睛了，大概是我们在陆地上，而他在海面上。

可爱的老人

”Come on," the old man said aloud.

"Make another turn.Just smell them.Aren't they lovely? Eat them good now and then There is the tuna.Hard and cold and lovely.Don't be shy,fish.Eat them."

这一段老人的言语中充满了童趣，像一个5,6岁的小男孩，站在鱼缸前给刚买的小金鱼喂食，眼神里满是宠爱，但又焦虑着。
