青苗新春寄语 善用假期，成长自我 Wishing You a Meaningful Holiday

随着猴年即将收尾，金鸡不日报晓，中国新年已经进入最后的倒计时，一年一度的春节假期就要来临了，很多人的朋友圈又要马上开启假期模式了吧？您或您的孩子准备怎么过这个假期呢？是重复过去的模式还是别出心裁地另辟蹊径？在匆忙奔赴的日子里，可曾静下来想一想怎样过假期更有意义呢？









 相对于国内公立学校，每年固定的寒暑两大假，国际学校的假期显得更温情和有文化气质一些，假期虽然长短不一，略显零碎，但是许多都有着浓浓的节日氛围和文化色彩。在这些假期之中，春节假期算是中国味道最浓的一个，因为上亿的中国人都要在这个假期度过这一年中最为重要的一天--除夕夜，过大年。一天365天的努力辛劳都为这一天的团聚和分享。所以对中国家庭来说，春节假期是最要放松和休息的一个假期，我们可以在别的假期或旅行，或实践，或学习，但是这个假期我们更喜欢待在家里，跟家人一起享受生活。 放眼国际，扎根中国文化是青苗教育的宗旨，青苗教育自成立以来，一直非常重视中国文化，春节文化更是不容错过。建立社区型学校是青苗教育的一个特色，上至青苗领导团队，下至青苗各层教职员工；纵览家长、学生还是校方人员都是青苗大家庭中的一份子，我们相互信任、相互支持、相互激励，共同致力于青苗学子的成长未来。在这团聚的节日即将来临之际，作为家人的我们，想跟青苗的家人们说上几句假期的知心话，让我们共同努力，寄语未来。

假期祝福第一：

平安、团圆、幸福。春节是中国人一年之中最重要的节日，这是阖家团圆、共享幸福的最美时刻。青苗在这里先送上节日的祝福，祝福大家平安、团圆、幸福。平安是福，无论您人在何方，身处何地，青苗祝您和家人平平安安；团圆是乐，告别分离，远离孤独，青苗祝愿您阖家团聚，心灵圆满；幸福是宝，在美好的日子里，青苗希望您感受生命的美好，感恩一切的拥有。



假期作业第一：

玩好。

如果我们想给这个假期布置作业的话，我们希望孩子们玩好。玩，不是时光的虚度，相反对于孩童时期的孩子来说，玩是他们这个阶段最重要的工作。很多生活的认知、生命的体验都是在玩中学会的。因为孩子认识这个世界跟成人不同，成人是通过概念和知识来认识，而孩子更多的是通过直接的体验会积累。我们常说，会玩的孩子才会学习，所以只要在保证安全的前提下，让孩子尽情玩吧。 家长们需要做的就是耐心地陪伴，一同进入他们的世界，在玩中成长，在玩中增进彼此的爱。



假期习惯第一：

坚持阅读。

相比较其它的假期，春节假期是学习氛围最清淡的一个，我们提倡的“玩”也不是让大家完全“撒野”“忘本”了，在校期间建立起来的阅读习惯，我们希望孩子们能够继续坚持。阅读是一个美好的习惯，也是一种美好的享受，“腹有诗书气自华”，坚持阅读，将之培养成为伴随我们终身的一种良好的习惯，让阅读渗入我们的人生，成为我们生命中不可或缺的一部分，我们将受益终生。



假期情感第一：

与家人谈心，也与自己交谈。平时的岁月总是忙忙碌碌，急急匆匆，家长忙着干不完的工作，孩子穿梭于学业之中，成长中的烦恼往往被我们藏起来或者压抑着，无处释放。假期正好给了我们彼此一段悠闲的时光，放下手里的工作和学业，感受亲情，倾诉烦恼，寄予成长。与家人谈心，增进亲情，感受温暖，体会幸福。同时，假期也给我们提供了重新认识自我的机会和时光，对孩子们来说，远离了忙碌喧嚣的学校生活，这里也会有一段释放爱好和享受独处的心灵空间，停下来观照一下自己的心路历程，让我们接触到内心深处那个微妙的自我，那是隐藏在多年的学习和测试之下的自我，让就像青苗或者称之为幼芽的那部分自己在细心的呵护下快乐成长。





Rooted in Chinese culture but having an international vision is the main concept of BIBS education. Since its foundation, Beanstalk education has always placed a great importance on Chinese culture, especially the Spring Festival culture. BIBS is committed to build a community school, in which parents, students and school staff are working together, believe in each other and support each other, to make a better environment for BIBS students. Today, we want to give you some suggestion for your Spring Festival holiday, which hopefully can help you to have a more meaningful holiday. 









Holiday blessing: Safety, reunion and happiness. Spring festival is the most important festival for Chinese people. BIBS will take this opportunity to send our best regards to every member of BIBS community. We wish you a happy, safe and rewarded new year!

 

Holiday homework: Play well. If we want to allocate some homework to our kids, that is: please play well. Well play, is not a waste of time but a very important work for their growth for kids. Because the way children know the world is different form the adults. Adults is through the concept and the knowledge to understand, but the child is through the direct experience accumulation. We often say that the children play well can learn better. So long it is safe, we should encourage them to play. Let us accompany them patiently during their play, know more about them.









Holiday habits: keep reading. Compared with other holidays, the learning atmosphere for spring holiday is weak and light, we advocate “play” doesn’t mean we give up all the habits about learning. Reading is a very important habit that should be kept during the holiday. We should adhere to the good habit which was set up during the school time and make it a long life habit which will benefit us the whole life.Holiday emotion and feeling: talk to your family and talk to yourself. Our normal life is always rustling and bustling, parents busy for work and children busy on studies. The growing pains are something we should relieve during the holiday. We have more time talk with our families, sharing our achievement, puzzles, troubles and even pains, then we will become more stronger in heart. Besides, holiday is also a time we look into ourselves. We take this time touch the subtle inside of ourselves and we will know what we have done is right and what is wrong and how to go in the future. 



A few days later, the Chinese New Year is here. Maybe we will have less fireworks this year, but the spring breeze is not far on its way. The spring breeze will bring the spring rain which will warm and moisten the little sprouts. BIBS would like to be the Spring breeze and rain, warm and moisten things silently, let each green seedling thrive and full of energy!
