“ Is your mama a llama？” I asked my friend Dave.
我问我的朋友Dave，“你妈妈是一只美洲鸵吗？”
" No, she is not,' is the answer Dave gave.
“不，她不是的，” 这是Dave给的答案。
" She hangs by her feet, and she lives in a cave. I do not believe that's how llamas behave. "

" Oh, " I said, " you are right about that. I think your mama sounds more like a .. "

“Is your mama a llama?” I asked my friend Fred.

" No, she is not, " is what Freddy said.

"She's got big hind legs and a pocket for me ... So i don't think a llama is what she could be."

"My mama has big ears, long lashes, and fur... And you, of all people, should know about her ! Our mama's belong to the same herd, and you know all about llamas, 'cause you are one, too. "
“ 我妈妈有两只大耳朵，长长的睫毛，还有一身的毛……你们应该都认识她的！我们的妈妈属于同一种群，你了解美洲鸵的，因为你也是一只美洲鸵。”
" You are right, " I said to my friend. " My mama's a ... llama. "
