The Morning-Time coaches held the second session of English drama preliminary contest and the second freshmen Morning-Time examination on November 6th, 2016.There were total 28 groups taking part in this contest. With the cooperation of the classmates, there were totally ten groups entered the final in the evening of November 14th, 2016.

The drama preliminary contest took the hundred - mark system, and scored each student according to its performance. Groups in each classroom should be ranked from 1st to 6th. Finally, chose some excellent works into Final contest, and those who was chosen to the Final will awarded certificates.

In the final, Service Outsourcing Class 3 won the Blue ribbon. Foreign Language Class 6 and Normal English Class 1 won the second prize. Foreign Language Class 7 and Service Outsourcing Class 2 won the third prize. Besides, other class also got awards. The performer from Service Outsourcing Class 3 who acted the King Kong Boll, Gao Yang and the performer from Foreign Language Class 6 who acted the Queen, Ma Huixin, won the best actor and the best actress in this contest.

二等奖外文六班

According to this English drama contest, our department’s students got more confidence to stand on the stage to challenge themselves. It not only enriched the spare life of students, but also improved the spoken English of students, showing optimistic spirit of contemporary college students, which played an important role in building our university’s academic atmosphere. he performance of every participant brought us admiration. With the love of drama, the students will do better in their future study; with the love to the drama , they are trying their best to achieve new level every single day. Meanwhile the Morning-Time Coaches will also try to do the same to meet students’ need, and guarantee the English department a brighter future.

晨读教练团于2016年11月6号举办了第二届英文话剧比赛初赛暨2016级部分同学11月份晨读话剧考核，大一学年共有28组选手参加。在各位同学的支持配合下，共有十组选手于2016年11月14日晚进入本次决赛。

本次话剧比赛初赛采取百分制，根据各位选手综合表现给予评分，每考场按分数高低排名，最终汇总选出优秀作品进入决赛，在决赛中取得名次的选手会获得相应创新学分和证书奖励。同时参与本次话剧比赛的各位同学也可置换11月份晨读考核成绩，因此本次的话剧比赛也可谓是一场有“有趣而又严肃，轻松与紧张并在”的别样考核。

第一组

经过激烈的角逐，最终涉外三班获得一等奖、外文六班及师范一班获得二等奖、外文七班及涉外二班获得三等奖。同时在单项奖中，涉外三班《葫芦娃》中金刚娃的扮演者高杨，外文六班《甄嬛传》中皇后的扮演者马慧欣，分别荣获了本次话剧比赛最佳男女主角。这两位同学倾情演绎，尽力所能，为本组话剧起到了画龙点睛的作用，且用自己的表现证明了自己。

通过这次英文话剧比赛让我系学生更加自信的敢于站在舞台上挑战自我，超越自我。既丰富了同学们的业余生活，也锻炼了同学们的口语能力，同时也展现了当代大学生昂扬向上的精神面貌，对营造我校浓郁的学术氛围起着至关重要的作用。每组选手激情演绎，给大家带来了喜悦与感动。不论结果怎样，努力就是对自己的馈赠，怀揣着对话剧的热爱，共同期待明年的比赛，与教练团共同成长，共同进步。同时晨读教练团也会继续努力，为各位同学服务，为英语系增光添彩。
