《傲慢与偏见》是简·奥斯丁的代表作，是一部描写爱情与婚姻的经典小说。 里面描绘了四种青年男女的爱情，夏洛蒂和柯林斯是迫于无奈，莉迪亚和韦恩是臭味相投，简和宾利是因为相似的美貌善良而互相吸引，而伊丽莎白和达西则是经过重重困难最终选定对方为自己的灵魂伴侣，生动的反映了18世纪末到19世纪初处于保守和闭塞状态下的英国乡镇生活和世态人情。
作品讲述了小乡绅班纳特有五个待嫁闺中的千金，班纳特太太整天操心着为女儿们物色称心如意的丈夫。新来的邻居宾利（Bingley）是个有钱的单身汉，他立即成了班纳特太太追猎的目标，在一次舞会上，宾利带来了自己高富帅朋友达西（Darcy）一起参加。许多姑娘们纷纷向他投去羡（ji）慕（ke）的目光；但他非常骄傲，认为她们都不配做他的舞伴，其中包括女主人公伊丽莎白（Elizabeth）。
他有多骄傲呢？达西（Darcy）对宾利说，她（伊丽莎白）长的可以“容忍”，但还没到能引起他兴趣的程度。自尊心极强的伊丽莎白决定不去理睬这个傲慢的家伙。可是不久，达西却对她活泼可爱的举止产生了好感...
然而爱情故事从来不会缺席的就是第三方出现了，宾利（达西的好朋友）的妹妹，卡罗琳（Caroline）却一心想嫁给达西......因此，一段因傲慢与偏见而产生的爱情纠葛，就这样在保守和闭塞状态下的英国乡镇悄然发生......

印象最深的是——伊丽莎白面对质疑他们二者门不当户不对的人时，她却骄傲地说：“他是一位绅士，而我是绅士的女儿。”
看清楚爱的本质，不要被世俗所牵绊！两个世界的人并没有什么不好，起码你又看到了一个不同的世界。谁也不是谁的附庸，不会为了对方丢弃了自己的自尊与独立，这才是爱情的最好状态，好的爱情是势均力敌~
