《澳洲洞穴潜水系列长篇连载》之四 - Cave Dive Sites 封闭洞穴潜水潜点完整介绍...

本人将于2015年圣诞节后至2016年1月中旬驱车前往位于South Australia的Mount Gambier开始为期2周的洞穴潜水学习。选择CDAA完全是因为这是一个澳大利亚本地的洞穴潜水组织，更加能学以致用。最近一直在和各CDAA教练员通Email联系，也开始准备12月的课程安排。于是打算写一个长篇连载，带着大家一起进入洞穴潜水这个神秘的运动。连载将于公众号“郑桐是个梦想家”发布，敬请大家密切关注动态。

在水边穿好装备准备下水，直接踩到水底所有比较容易扬沙，因为水很浅，所以基本上很难几个人挤在一起入水，最好按队形顺序进入洞穴

Once known as "Middle of the Road" hole. Clear chamber at the bottom with black silt floor.

我们真正的洞穴潜水训练第一个进入的洞穴，在Allendale East的K&S加油站旁边。很有特色的一个洞穴，因为正好在两条分开的马路中间。最早公路局为了建笔直的公路，刚好穿过了这个洞穴上面，曾经试图放入很多石头填满这个洞穴，但是两次洞穴又冒出来了，以失败告终。最后不得不建一条分开的路绕过这个洞穴。入口的钥匙需要登记，然后从Mt Gambier的Lady Nelsons Visitor Centre获取，必须出示Cave或者以上级别证书。拿钥匙后要确认归还日期，免费，不过掉了的话罚款$800澳元，非常严重！洞穴入口处因为水位比较低，进入时候很难摆到合适的下潜姿势，注意不要踢起太多洞口的粉末，要不然会导致洞里能见度也不好。不过总的来说水很清澈，能见度很好，进去后有两个大chamber，不算是一个看头很大的Cave，也不深（可以从地图看出来），但是非常适合第一次的洞穴潜水员以及做一些基础的训练。

穿过咖啡厅进入付费区域后，可以看到下到洞里面的楼梯，因为是游客景点，所以设施做的很不错。

Tourist cave in Mount Gambier with shallow muddy lake. Low, silty passages and flatteners lead to an inner air chamber and lake.

这个洞穴在Mt Gambier市中心不远处的住宅区的小公园里面，入口处有一个不错的咖啡店，在这里游客可以选择交$12块钱做短暂的带讲解的洞穴游。如果是洞穴潜水员，要去Mt Gambier的Lady Nelson Visitor Office去出示证书并且签字租借钥匙。如果只是Cave级别，只能租用Engelbrechts Cave东线的钥匙，西线为Advanced Cave证书才能租借钥匙进入。入口设施非常完善，入水也不难，注意不要搅起泥沙要不然会让洞穴看起来非常浑浊。

我们没有潜，但是Linda还是带我们去看了一下，告诉我们一些以后自己来玩的注意事项。这个洞早期是给本地人作为dumping site，也就是丢垃圾，所以水底可以找到不少人为产物，比如啤酒瓶什么的。不过现在也不多了。非常值得一看的点。

Small pond leads to broad chamber with dark silt at the bottom. Small pool at other end leads to single small chamber.

我们Cave课程第四个洞潜的潜点。Fossil Cave是个蛮有趣的地方，在一号公路旁边，进入并不苦难，下了楼梯后会发现两侧都有洞穴，一边比较浅，另一边深一些也更加有趣。我们的训练潜在深得那边。据说这个洞穴得名是因为早期潜水员在洞穴里面找到很多澳洲本土动物的骸骨，后来从阿德莱德来的科研人员研究后对潜水员开放。这个洞非常适合做训练，并且在洞穴的底部抬头看洞口非常漂亮，水晶般的泉水以及顶部远处冒出的蓝光和天空。

很多潜水员在洞穴潜水证书拿到之后，立刻去另一边进行第一次课外的洞穴潜水，不过我们还是决定结束潜水了。

The water is constantly shaded and subsequently usually very clear. A flooded passage leads into a low silty chamber which pinches off 17 metres below the surface. Very easily silted out by the first diver in.

我们没有潜这个地方不过我们去看了一下，离Pines Cave不远的一处松树林里面。如图所示，洞穴入口有非常完好的栈道和楼梯适合潜水员准备装备和入水。但是入水口非常小，强烈建议入水要谨慎千万不要扬起浮层，要不然黑色的灰会沿着洞口一直翻滚下去，能见度会变得很糟糕。尽量小心下水。

这个洞如地图所示，最深下到17米。应该并不是一个非常高难度的洞穴。适合Cave级别的洞穴潜水员练习和探索。

Small entrance cuts back to large clear chamber. Lower level between rocks can cloud up badly. Dual rated site. Cave level divers must not enter the Advanced Cave Section below the two stop signs at 25m.

我们第二个真正的洞穴潜水潜点，在一片政府的松树林里面，入水口非常方便因为南澳林业局放了一个设施非常好的梯子在入口，方便潜水员入水。这个洞穴的入口常年开放，不需要从任何地方获取钥匙，除了网上公布的"Total Fire Ban Day"门会锁起。不允许任何Cavern级别的潜水员进入，Cave资格潜水员可以进入Cave的区域，不能进入Advanced Cave进入的区域。

空间比我们第一潜的Allendale大很多，并且也很清澈，入水的地方也宽敞了不少。里面白色的石头很多，洞穴结构挺漂亮的。这个洞里面，非常多淡水小龙虾。在深处开始Advanced Cave级别的入口有很大的STOP牌子，告诉“洞穴”潜水员不能再进入。

Site Description:

A large freshwater cenote accessed through a 1m-diameter solution tube - 7m in length followed further by a free drop of 9m into water. Water depth below here is approx 15m.

The enormous bell shaped cavity has the characteristic NW-SE orientation of approx. 60m length with a width of approx. 35m.

The NW end has major roof steps with boulder collapses forming deep wall slots to depths of approx. 20+m, whereas the SE end also has many boulders & swim throughs and has a low silty chamber reaching a depth of approx. 37m. The lower chamber is low yet wide, extremely milky white silt and would suit sidemount access.

There is currently a fixed line circuit of about 185m around the feature with a jump into the lower chamber.

Cave maximum depth: 37 metres.

The site has a vertical solution tube around 1m in diameter that drops 16m to the water where divers can swim to a clean rock to stand on in waist deep water to don and doff dive gear. The dive itself consists of a large underwater main chamber that leads to a single tunnel with a max depth of 33m.

This site has been tri-rated as Sinkhole, Cave and Advanced Cave (depending on exact part of site). Water visibility is described as being 5-10m and when silted clears slowly. The temperature varies significantly between winter and summer and also between depths. Variations from 12 to 20 degrees at different times and levels are reported. Both Cave and Advanced Cave levels are being accepted for this cave depending on its water level at the time. The cave has a restriction at the entrance which, when underwater, makes it a Penetration dive. During drought, the water level drops to form a small lake below the restriction allowing experienced Cave certified divers access to this delicate cave. Site Description:

Large talus filled main passage south-west from doline leads to two lakes, one large and one small. 100 metre long sump at end of 150 metre long large lake leads to a further dome-shaped airspace and submerged passages beyond. Main sump has a large offshoot to the south-east over 150 metres long. Smaller lake reaches 28 metres depth.

Site Description:

Entrance chamber over 300 metres long leads to a 180 metre long lake. The cave then consists of a single, straight tunnel more than six kilometres long, of which more than 90% is underwater. From the entrance lake the first sump is about one kilometre length to the air-filled Rockfall Chamber. Dive gear must be transported over the Rockfall Chamber to the second sump, which is 2.5 kilometres in length. The second sump leads to another chamber named Toad Hall. Dive gear must be carried across Toad Hall to reach the third and final sump, which is 1.8 kilometres in length. Cocklebiddy has been the object of numerous cave diving expeditions over the years. Accounts of two of the more notable recent expeditions in 1995 and 1997 are given here.

Steep entrance slope down nearly choked rockpile enters main chamber and continues down to small lake. 190 metre sump through phreatic maze to 80 metre large dry chamber with another lake at far end. Glacier Lake sumps for 130 metres to the edge of a 30 metre diameter rockpile chamber which blocks off 35 metres above water.
