绘阅读的理念是——绘本不仅可以读，还可以玩，可以演，绘本是快乐教育的绝佳读本。今天分享几位说唱乐手对英文绘本《pete the cat I —love my white shoes》的欢乐演绎，来和宝宝妈妈们一起 high翻天！

Pete the Cat 简介

绘本 Pete the Cat（皮特猫）在美国可谓家喻户晓。这一系列绘本因幽默向上、琅琅上口，曾在时代周刊的销量榜上名列前茅。Pete the cat系列的音频是说唱结合的，而且句型结构重复率高（唱的部分基本相同，仅变动一个单词），孩子听过几次音频，再跟爸爸妈妈过过几次书，很快就能学会里面的曲子，是英语启蒙的绝佳读物。

《pete the cat I —love my white shoes》是这一系列的第一本。这是一本认知颜色的绘本，很适合小小童与爸爸妈妈进行亲子阅读。

故事讲的是Pete the cat穿着两双崭新的大白鞋，屁颠屁颠地散步，边遛达还边美滋滋地唱：

看把这只猫得意的，根本就不看路，先后踩到了strawberries、blueberries、 mud和water；因此，他的这两双崭新的大白鞋，先后变成了大红鞋（red）、大蓝鞋(blue)、大棕鞋(brown)和白色湿漉漉的鞋(wet)。

面对一连串打击，这只猫倒是毫不在乎——

“Did Pete cry? Goodness, no! He kept walking along and singing his song.”

还真是一个乐天派啊！

更有趣的是，Pete the cat 索性乐观到底，把“I love my...shoes”的歌词一一根据鞋子的特点做出调整，先后变成I love my white shoes, I love my red shoes, I love my blue shoes和I love my wet shoes。

插画作者James Dean也顺势调整了背景主色调。对了，请注意时不时就冒出来的那只小黄鸟，跟娃一起找这只鸟，乐趣应该不少哦。

pete the cat I love my white shoes在结束的时候，作者还给出了一个moral，也就是寓意：No matter what you step in, kept walking along and singing your song. (不管踩到什么，都要继续前行并歌唱)。

Oh no! Pete stepped in a large pile of stawberries. What color did it turn his shoes? Red. Did Pete cry ? Goodness no. He kept walking along and singing his song: I love my red shoes, I love my red shoes…

Oh no! Pete stepped in a large pile of blueberries. What color did it turn his shoes? Blue. Did Pete cry ? Goodness no. He kept walking along and singing his song: I love my blue shoes, I love my blue shoes…

Oh no! Pete stepped in a large puddle of mud. What color did it turn his shoes? Brown. Did Pete cry ? Goodness no. He kept walking along and singing his song: I love my brown shoes, I love my brown shoes…

Oh no! Pete stepped a large backet of water. And all the red, and all the blue, and all the brown were washed away. What color were his shoes again? White. But now they were wet.  Did Pete cry? Goodness no. He kept walking along and singing his song: I love my wet shoes, I love my wet shoes…

The more of the story is no matter what you stepped in, keep along walking and singing  you songs. Because it’s all good.
