Task1 – Do you think it’s a good idea for university to ask a student to leave school if he was caught cheating in exams? Explain your response in details.
In my opinion, it’s better for the university to dismiss students who cheat in exams, because intellectual integrity should be prioritized when we are pursuing knowledge; without integrity, the degrees awarded to the students become meaningless and these students do not deserve such titles either. Also it’s an insult to be awarded the same degree with someone who had no respect for other people’s intellectual property. The most important of all, people who cheat at school would more likely to cheat in the society and that would lead to even worse consequence.
Task2 – Some college students like to join clubs and enjoy club activities, others like to spend their time studying other courses or doing schoolwork. Which one do you think is better and why?
This question reminds me of an old proverb: “all work and no play makes little Jackie a dull boy”, I mean, students are not robots, taking part in some club activities would help them to unwind and refresh after a busy day of study. Besides, some clubs help students to cultivate some useful and practical skills that cannot be obtained from traditional classroom study. For instance, back in college, a friend of mine was a member of our campus toastmasters club. He went from being a really shy boy to a confident, outspoken man all thanks to the systematic training at the club. Before that, he always had a hard time expressing himself in a way that could be heard clearly. But by the time we graduated from college, he was appointed to deliver a speech at our commencement ceremony.

学生建议：学校应该 display artwork in the library。
原因一，艺术系学生有机会展示他们的作品。
原因二，让图书馆看起来更有趣。
听力女生同意。
原因一，图书馆是艺术学生展示作品的一个平台，每天有很多学生去图书馆，像她每天都会去，所以这个提议可以让更多的学生看到艺术系学生作品。
原因二，图书馆是新的，所以有很多spare space,现在很boring, 可以让学生color it。
Task4-
阅读概念：D开头的一个现象。 指species showing differences in color, shape, which correspond with various survival needs.
讲座：一种鸟, female 会有feature and large wings with bright color 可以stand out to attract mates male的wings color通常是grey深色的，可以很好的融合在surrounding里，不被predator 发现，可以protect young and mother birds。
Task5-
问题：The woman has a time conflict. 假期留校参加地理课实践或者回家。
Solution 1: 回家，不参加地理课活动，这样可以和父母度过happy time而且她的姐姐这次回来，她们有好久没见。缺点是她会失去这个好机会。
Solution 2:参加实践，回家团聚下次还有机会.
Task6-
Synthetic die的两种不同effects：
第一个：cheaper,以前只是available for wealthy people, 现在可以available for everyone, 并且fashion-changed, 有了更多的colorful cloth;
第二个 ：medical use, researcher发现一种yellow die, 可以kill bacteria, 认为cleaning cutting staff for preventing infection 的医学用途。
